How Was Your Day? The 20th Thread

I'm staying around the condo again. The wine I was expecting yesterday didn't arrive; maybe it will come today.

Spring Break starts today, but it's a working break for me. Grading midterms and putting up a Canvas shell for students to prep for the Civics Literacy Test the state requires for graduation.

I finally got my California wine delivery and I've stored it in the wine cellar. I also picked up my order from the local shop's tasting event and added those bottles too.

Went back to work after a successful D&D weekend that was a lot of fun. The game that started on August 23, 1980, continues...

I went to two grocery stores for the ground pork and mushrooms I need for tonight's dinner. I also went to a pet store for a bag of dry cat food.

I took my Volvo (or actually it took me) to America's First Public Library so I could pick up a new book that just came in on reserve for me.

I returned a library book and went to the grocery store this morning.

We've got our grandson with us today. Just came back inside after playing ball with him.

I've been home all day. I read and did some laundry.

A day much like yesterday except no laundry. I am doing some writing: parts of the next two chapters of Cri de Guerre.

Still dealing with a post office foulup and Spring Break's over so it's back to work.

I vacuumed the condo, washed laundry, and I'm working on fanfic now.

I had an upset stomach and went home early to bed. Later I had a small dinner of caribbean salad and came to work on the computer some before returning to bed. I'm on call for the center, but it has been very light with only one call so far.

This morning I went grocery shopping, after first swinging by the municipal building to drop off my annual town census form.

Took my clean laundry upstairs from the basement, mailed a letter for Mom, and popped over to a couple of stores in the afternoon. Also picked up a prescription refill from the pharmacy. I'm getting better at using this new cell phone....

I went out to pick up a pair of sunglasses and to borrow a book from America's First Public Library. I also did some laundry.

Stayed home reading today. I'll go out to pick up dinner later.

We had our grandson over today. We went outside and kicked around a ball for a while.

I stayed home except for a trip to pick up a hamburger.

Helping to get a Canvas shell set up for students taking the Civics Literacy Test next month. Still dealing with postal issues--looks like I'm going to have to take a trip to the DMV this Friday as my DL still hasn't come in. Added to that, I'm missing other important mail. I think it's safe to say that the supervisor in charge of the post office that handles my mail is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Today I washed the bedsheets and remade our bed. I also went for a walk around the condos for exercise.

Still working as Linda's physical therapy coach, she IS making progress although I might be ordered to sleep on the sofa for a while.

I went to the farm for some eggs.

Got a good report from the electrocardiologist. Pacemaker's doing its thing and everything's go. All goes well, if my next check is as good as this one, he said he'll probably reduce my amiodarone dosage lower.

We've got our grandson coming over in a few minutes. In the afternoon we'll bring him back home and also collect his sister from the school bus stop.

Hectic, getting everything ready for the priory's investiture.

since the postulant vigil is tonight....let's say when this weekend is over I am going to sleep for a couple of days.

We'll be attending a wine tasting event at the local shop. Italian wines (and foods) will be served.

The investiture went well, we have 2 new knights. Wife is doing a lot better. Hopefully, she'll be able to go up and down a few steps by the end of the week.

I did some laundry this morning. I've also got my battery tender charging the battery in my Volvo now.

Today I returned a book to the library, stopped at the post office to mail my state tax form, and went liquor shopping.

Had some bills to pay so that is done and have some more to pay later in the week.

I went out grocery shopping so I'll have ingredients for dinners for tomorrow and Thursday.

I went out to the warehouse club. I also got my car washed and picked up some cash from an ATM.

Gave an online lecture--got the class up to just before Lincoln's election. Next week--the Civil War.

Worked on the wife's exercises and went to have lunch with the other retired pipefitters....more of wife's exercises coming up in a couple of hours.
