So uh... wow... i watched last nights episode and im pretty much speachless... I think the Cornelia Marie... is done. Jake had something to hide and he proved that when he hauled butt to the airport, then refused to be tested. If he had nothing to hide... he would of took it just to prove them wrong... but, he couldn't back up his words. How sad:dubiety: Phils memory and legacy deserves better then the fate that has been drawn.
It certainly looked that way to me. Yet, captain Derrick Ray couldn't prove conclusively that it was Jake who was smoking the weed on board. And when the police officer searched Jake's cabin, he found nothing incriminating - no drugs, or the paraphernalia for using them. And when he searched Jake at the airport, he still found nothing. So we're left feeling a little doubtful here - "Did he or didn't he?"Quote:

I wouldn't of made this gamble for sure on the type of king crab they were fishing... there was and seemed to be NO reward for it what-so-ever. Im sure Phil went though many of hard years... infact i remember that season... not sure which one it was # wise but, He just could NOT find the crab to save his life... That's why it is call crab fishing... a wise man once said that's why it's called fishing and not catching.Quote:

Tonight's episode was interesting. Since his attempts to catch Blue King crab weren't working, Keith Colburn of the Wizard decided to go after Red King, and go back for the Blue later (he's the only skipper to agree to catch both Red and Blue this season). While in port to pick up supplies and reset his pots for Red King, he hired two greenhorn deckhands, instead of just one. And already one of the greenhorns tried to quit after his first day on the job because he said he was "terrified" to be out on the Bering Sea. Keith chewed him out at that, and refused to let the guy quit so soon. So the greenhorn went back on deck to face his fears.
The Wizard seems to get the worst greenhorns of all the boats I've seen on this show. I don't know why; could be just bad luck or it could be that the Colburn brothers (Keith and Monte) are lousy judges of character when hiring. Either way, it seems as though that boat's greenhorn losing streak is continuing.
(Personally, I wouldn't work on the Wizard - Keith scares me with that fiery, raging temper of his. I've got anger issues myself, but he makes me seem like Pollyanna by comparison! IMHO, Keith Colburn could terrify both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine when he gets angry!)

Yeah; it used to be they'd repeat an episode of a given show later in the week - what one local TV station used to call an "encore presentation." Now it seems they don't do that anymore - except on Disney Channel, where they tend to overdo it. :thumbdown:Quote:

It's still my "default" channel; mostly out of habit. They've got a couple of good cartoon series currently running - Phineas and Ferb, and Gravity Falls. They're both pretty funny, IMHO. :thumbup: Check them out some time and see for yourself.Quote:
