We stayed on board the ship and got some sun … before and after the torrential downpour.
We walked around the shops near the port in St. Kitts for a bit and then went back to the ship.
The usual working day, slow and tenuous. But I'm getting to work on a friend's computer and upgrade it. He thought he was getting a new computer, a little Dell Inspiron 3505, mediocre quad core 2.1 Ghz. But it was essentially a stripped down dumb terminal. No storage drive, extremely small boot drive (256 Gb)with virtually nothing on it and only 19 Gb free space left, along with just 8 Gb RAM? Ouch..... No wonder the thing didn't work for him. He'll need a lot more memory, a bigger M.2 stick for the boot, and a good storage drive. Fortunately, he's not going to be doing any gaming, movie streaming, high intensity graphic work, or number crunching of any kind. Just word process, spreadsheet, email, and surf the net. So once I upgrade it, it'll do for him.

Grading projects and exams and figuring out final averages. Grades have to be submitted Thurs. morning, so it's crunch time.
Soaking up the Caribbean sunshine.
Well since it's a cold drizzle right now, we are just enjoying the fire and stuff
So mad. We wanted to walk around the shopping area at the port here in St. Lucia, but when we looked outside we saw two other ships docked there. We, meanwhile, are docked across the harbor at a container terminal, with nothing to do.
Docked at the container port again, but that’s par for the course in Barbados.
