Got the white strat back from the guitar tech. Mannnnn, is it nice now. To bad it's slated for the grand boy....I wonder if he'll like something new better?
Flew to SF in the morning. Now resting.
Hope the trip was okay, Campy, considering how stressful it is to fly these days. Enjoying my weekend off. Spending time writing my novel(s). Talking to my nieces and brother-in-law. Spending time with my stepmother as her memory is going. She's 86 so, unfortunately, it's not a surprise.
Nana campy and I took Clara into the city today so Mommy and Daddy could do some packing.
Quiet for the most part, scammers were trying to get us to pay for an Apple I phone, I finally called one of the numbers and she recognized mine because someone called from it to try and get her to pay for a computer. We had a nice 30 minute call. Nice old lady.
Frenzied packing going on all around me.
I got my prescription refilled for one of the meds I have to take following last summer's cardiac stent surgery. It's a blood thinner that's REALLY, REALLY expensive. The 'scrip I first got last summer expires this coming Saturday; and my cardiologist sent the renewal to our old pharmacy that had just gone out of business. I had to contact a local Walgreen's, where the old pharmacy sent my records, and talk to them about getting it refilled. I then went to my doctor's office, and got them to send the Rx to the Walgreen's. The new prescription was ready this afternoon, and I didn't have to pay for it - my Medicaid insurance covered it all!
That, and I did some job-hunting on the phone and Internet. Still no job, but I'm searching....
reading and writing.
Movers are emptying the house.
