To all the great KP fans who have come to the Global Justice Alliance and participated in our venture, I want to take this opportunity to thank you deeply, from the bottom of my heart, for all your efforts and participation. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end at some point. We have been stuck on vBulletin version 4.2.5 and could not advance further than that because the upgrades would interfere significantly with the way the forum needed to be handled. vBulletin has now progressed up through version 6 and our version is quite out of date. Because of this, the IT manager of our website has had to handle a lot of attacks due to the antiquated nature of the web site and many attacks are tending to completely shut the site down. It has gotten to the point that he has to revive our web site several times a day or so, and he can't keep up with it much longer.

It is possible to keep going, but only at the expense of using a completely new software as vBulletin is no longer suitable for the purposes of this web site. I have been paying to maintain the website all these years and didn't mind doing that as it wasn't that much money to me. But in order to effect this change, it would now cost several thousand dollars.

At this point, the forum is barely functioning with no more than five or six members who visit on any kind of a regular basis, and I can't justify spending that kind of cash just for that level of activity. So, I am going to have to shut the forum down before it crashes to the point where my IT manager can't resurrect it. We've had 17 good years, and I can't complain.

It' s been an honor and a pleasure to serve as administrator to the people here on this forum, and I will always have a sense of satisfaction in how all of us came together to save it from the dictatorial nature of the old ARA and prolong our association for such a long time. I think we will always have good memories of our time together.
