    Favorite AmDrag character?

    Continuation of the thread.

This is the from the archived thread:
Mine will have to be Jake himself, and this is strange coming from me because usually my favorite character on a show is a villain and it's very rarely the main character. But Jake is cool, nice, funny, easy to relate to and sympathize with. I feel like he just tries so hard and does his best but he just gets ripped on and scolded by everybody. Although Spud is a close second. He's hilarious in an eccentric, semi-Ron sort of way, and he's sweet.

Rose is good, but I'd vote for Haley. She's so deliciously smug.

My favorite is Fu Dog. He's slightly cynical, yet wise from his years as a magical creature. Plus, I like the Brooklyn accent John DiMaggio gave this character.

Gotta admit, I'm a Rose fan myself.

    Yeah, she is rather cute....
Isn't that the way it seems - the really desirable girls are almost always unattainable? It's interesting how the AmDrag scriptwriters worked that little truism into the Jake/Rose relationship throughout the series. I may not have watched the show with any regularity, but I saw enough episodes to pick up on that particular story arc.

Well, that's one of the classic eight stories of screenplay writing (or really any type of story telling really.....in this case Tristan and Isolde, Boy meets girl, boy can't get girl. However, the last episode sure left a lot of possibilities in the air.

What possibilities are you talking about? I wasn't very diligent in my watching of the series.

Well, I know Jake found Rose in Hong Kong at the end, and she began to remember him after seeing a photo of the two of them.

And she didn't believe him at first, but eventually she remembered the alternate timeline and burst in at the last second to save the day. Jake's dad hung a lampshade on the fact that the dragons' clothes disappears and reappears when they transform. The Dark Dragon and the aruetii whose name escapes me got sucked into a black hole. I remember that.
