Ranks and Permissions, Explanation

Hmm, I looked back over the archived thread, and I have to ask, "Please can the last two ranking's names be changed. I (And I'm sure others) find them to be incredibly offensive, dictator-like, and dishonorable."

The Ranks we're and are changed. The last two ranking are Honored Elder and Venerated Elder.

I'll only add that we thought the same thing you did, Cody. The two rank names of "Demigod", and "God" were holdovers from the old ARA era, and were names developed primarily by the old admins there. When the GJA was created, the founding members looked at that and also felt it was quite inappropriate and therefore was changed as Cloud has indicated.

You know, it occurs to me that so many things have changed from the old ARA system that it would just be easier to, rather then pointing people to an out of date thread and listing every single change individually, create an entirely new list on the Alliance's ranks and privileges system. Hope y'all take this into consideration.

Actually we have planned to do exactly that, but we haven't actually gotten around to doing it, yet.....

Well you know what they say about slothfulness: it sinks ships. And three, two, one, and punchline. Wonder how many people will get that.
