    Which Finale Was better?

I wanna hear which fanale you thought was better... So The Drama Or Graduation... and if you feel like putting what the reason was... I'd love to read it.

Graduation was way better for me... StD ended with K/R getting together but that was it... We never knew how it would work out. Ron getting to step up and save the world was also a plus. I'm not taking anything away from Kim, but we know she can do it... and now we know Ron can too.

    Graduation, hands down.

The only thing "So the Drama" had on "Graduation" was length. Give "Grad" another 15 minutes - it still would have been crammed full - and it would be flat-out.

(Seeing all the old KP standbys picked off one-by-one felt a bit like they were breaking fingers, though...

House... Snap.... School... Crackle.... Scooter... Pop......)

We should of had more and it could of been a 3 parter... I was looking at the one half episode bit or the two 12 minute episodes... they would normally be a part A and part B but it counted and one episode total... we did get a bit jipped... but it's what it is and we can't change it.

I liked both, but I'd pick Graduation over StD if my criterion is which one am I likely to re-watch most often.

StD was definitely more cinematic in that I thought it had more drama, intricate plot/evil plan, and a satisfying romance. The thing is, this grand scope is also what makes me put it 2nd to Graduation.

What I tend to like in a series finale is follow though on what made the series great, and a nod to fans. As a series finale I think Graduation is more typical of a KP episode--snappy dialog, humour, action and Ron-Kim interaction, cameos of past characters and references to previous episodes were a satisfying acknowledgment of the entire 4 seasons.

While StD has all these things, too, StD also had a heavy dose of romantic angst (atypical) mixed in which makes me more likely to re-watch Graduation than StD; Graduation has the 'ship without the angst.

Finally, being shorter, Graduation didn't seem to drag at some points like I thought StD did.

    My two cents.

Graduation. To me, it seemed to flow better and felt very right for a KP ending, tying up a lot of loose ends and leaving just the right ones open.

I loved StD, but there's no question that Graduation was better. StD did not really have that certain finality for the series. It was more like a transition stage. Graduation was much better as resolving the underlying conflicts and storylines altogether.

I must agree with GoTeamGirl here. While "Graduation" did conclude the series, it had an "open-ended" feeling to it - while some plotlines were resolved, others were not - providing opportunities for storylines in any potential KP shows or movies in the future. I felt like we were just taking our leave of Kim & Ron for a while; with the possibility left open for us to drop in again some day to catch up with them. It was a satisfying series finale that left me smiling.
Although I also agree with 'chutes when he says:

I was also dismayed by all the destruction in Middleton - especially the Possible house, Pandaroo, and Ron's scooter. It almost felt like I was watching my own prized possessions being destroyed...

I'm going to have to say I like So the Drama better. So the Drama was more satisfying for me in the sense that it was more epic and cinematic, and the ending seemed to pack more of a punch. Graduation had less angst and seemed more light-hearted, and had the potential to beat out StD hands down with its fun factor, action, and the all-important humor factor had the KP crew opted to make it a three-parter. Although StD dragged slightly, the flip side is that Graduation lacked transition. It just felt like they were blasting through it, more like an extended episode than a movie. The real killer was length.

Don't get me wrong, I love Graduation, I just don't feel that it was all it could have been.

Put me down for Graduation being my favorite of the two (I know, I know... plot twist of the year). I kind of liked the how it was fairly open ended in a lot of respects. Doesn't quite beat you over the head that it's the end. Didn't hurt that Drakken and Shego got much happier endings this time around.

Graduation had the speed, the fun, the "say good bye to all your friends" (except for some), the successful Drakken. But it also had these kindof "out of the air" threat, this "when the aliens come, the earthlings unite" and this "flying to the moon in an open rocket car just for the imagery". Oh yes, Ron rocked after a long period of being mainly funny, there was a little of soft-Shego. But throughout the whole thing (and most of S4) I couldn't get rid of the feeling that I might know quite exactly who they wrote this line or that scene for. That kinda spoiled it for me. Also the "let's throw the villains into their crashing spacecraft thereby causing a gigantic explosion which allows us not to care about any of them (villains and craft) anymore" ending didn't really satisfy me.
I think StD delivered a more, well maybe "delicate" is the right word, maybe "refined" (not my language, you know), ending. Getting Kim and Ron together after three seasons was a nice way to add the certain quantum of impossibility to the overall story that in my eyes would have kicked it into the area of "well, Disney". And I still think S4 was much more "well, Disney" than one to three. Some scenes reminded me of the old joke about German versions of violent computer games:
*Battle sounds coming out of the computer*
"Oh, is this the new shooter?" *machine gun sound* "Yep."
    "German version?"
*Voice on the speaker*: Sir, you can't bleed here, you're making everything green! "Yep."

After all I like both endings, just that when it was the only ending, StD felt better to me. Ron catching the ninjas out of the air and freeing Nakazumi by accident just gave me more than Ron glowing like a Dragonball transformer. In my eyes StD had the higher Ron Factor while Graduation did a little too much fan service.
