McCorkle & Schooly comment on "Graduation"

I stumbled across this really interesting interview with Mark McCorkle & Bob Schooly by a reviewer of the entertainment industry/Disney. The guy seems to be a significant fan of the show.

    Interview Link

Informative, and more than a little uplifting.

Thanks for the link, but I'm not sure about a live action KP. It seems to me there's a lot of potential for it to be a flop. I'd rather have another feature length animation.
Why is everyone who drives slower than me an idiot, and everyone who drives faster a maniac?

The link also doesn't work on mine.

It sounds interesting. And screencaps-that's awesome.

Here's a version that should work:

    Link

But the "Graduation" screencaps can be had on wallaceb's site in much higher resolution. One's been my wallpaper for more than a week.

No go. It says "The page cannot be found."

    Link

This one should work. The other one was missing a close quote at the end. I fixed that one too.

I agree with canuck about a live-action KP film. It just wouldn't be the same. Part of the show's appeal lies in the fantasy setting of animation. Kim's astounding athletic stunts are believable in a cartoon, whereas they'd seem faked in live-action.
No; IMHO, Disney should stick to animation for any future KP productions.
BTW: 'Chutes, campy; thanks for the links.

That worked much better. The link was successful.

I find it interesting the way they portrayed the Disney execs saying that they were so fond of the series, and that it was the fan response which was the impetus for bringing the series back for a fourth season. Somehow, it seems that is a lot of PR more than anything. The German syndication deal and the money it brought still seems to be the more likely reason for S4 being done, despite what the fans wanted, but it never hurts to give props to the fans for their support.

It looks like Mark and Bob are still thinking along the lines of a live action film. If so, I certainly hope they make it a good one. I'd prefer they keep it animated myself.

Could it be possible (no pun intended! ) that both fan response and the German syndication deal encouraged the DC execs to order the fourth season? I mean, surely all those letters, phone calls and e-mails the fans sent to Disney couldn't have gone unnoticed.
