...another writer, reviewer, and my fellow winner in last year's Fannies for Best New Writer:
From ff.net: a wonderful writer who commands R-E-S-P-E-C-T, can be one of your Best Enemies in the Universe, and who knows which Underwear is Fun to Wear (is that enough non-self promotion, campy) and an outstanding reviewer (you should be so fortunate to have him review one of your stories!), I give you:
King In Yellow!
Welcome, sir! Cookies are in the back (if Rufus hasn't gone thru them all!).

Thanks for the welcome. It's good to be here... I think. Which refers to the question of whether or not I'm here rather than whether the place itself is good. I attempted a couple posts yesterday which have still not appeared. I'm having a little trouble with the dynamics of a moderated board. I
suspect
it
means
discussions
happen
much,
much,
more
slowly.

Okay, two fast questions. Why did that just post instantly, when yesterday I got a comment like "moderator needs to approve message before it can be posted" and how can I edit an existing message?

I think Jer was in the process of getting your account approved. Not sure.
You can gain editing privileges once you accrue enough posts.

Sorry about that KiY,
Normally, when you register, the board software puts you in moderation automatically, and I have to manually get you out of it. I usually do it very quickly, within an hour or two, but when you signed up, I had been out all day at the Renaissance Festival with friends down by Houston, and so I didn't get to you in a very timely manner. My apologies. You're now able to post like everyone else, and once you hit 20 posts, you become a junior member, and then you can edit your own posts, as well.
