What Video Game/Games are you currently playing?

So we got reading, watching, and listening... And I know we have many gamers here on GJA. So I says to myself, "Hmmm... how 'bout I start something?"

I am currently playing Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenchaichi 3 on my PS2. I also have the Wii version, but I like the PS2 one better...

The only video game I still play is Tetris on the old Nintendo Entertainment System. Someday I hope to break my personal best of 708,125 points.

I am really an old fogey where this is concerned. I grew up at a time when these were not available, really. Just as I was getting more serious in my career, that was when the state of the art game was around... ....a little thing called Asteroids.....

I never got any further interested in them past that. But that's just me. I do find it amazing how the younger generation(s) really get into them. I've just never been that enamored of them.:P

Both Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening (Special Edition of course) and Super Mario Galaxy have been sucking up far more time than I'd care to admit.

What can I say? DMC3 is just the perfect game to let loose when you're stressed and SMG is so ridiculously fun to play that it's not even funny.

Asteriods, that's a fun one. My first ever Video Game I played was Mario Brothers. And Campy, Tetris is still considered one of the best.

But Jeriddian, you never played Pong? Man that came out almost 40 something years ago. It''s credited as the first home video game.

Well, I've been addicted for 18 years now. Yes, I was playing games when I was 2 years old! But I do find it fascinating that some of the older generation says Video Games are evil. (Joe Liberman, this means you!) But I can't blame you for not getting into them too much J. Save yourself the money. Games are expensive now days.

DMC3: Another addicting game. As for Mario Galaxy, I haven't played it as much since I bought Resident Evil 4: Wii edition. That has been dominating my playtime on there.

Addicting indeed. The last mission in that game along can keep me coming back. Toss in the other nineteen levels...

Oh, and look... seems like new Street Fighter IV images are out. Hmmm... screen shots of Chun-Li in the game, as well as the official art of her in the game. Yeah, it was a guarantee she'd get in the game, but it's so nice to see everything all official like. Made this day, that's for sure.

Currently locked and loaded into my PS2 is Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. I haven't played it in a few days, being sick and all, but I'm currently at the battle with The Fear. And I've got a bunch of food in my inventory that's most likely spoiled rotten by now...

Yes, I did! Forgot about that one. Thanks for reminding me. I used go into the student rec center in college as an undergrad and play that one. Of course, back then there were no computers to play them on, just these big amusement style machines like you see in the gaming rooms now.:P

    Whaaaatttt...?!

I know that Pong was "the" original videogame, but it's more or less a historical curiousity; it seems so old it's hard to find anyone who actually played it. (Sorry, Jer. )
