Ace's (Hopefully Temporary) Departure
Guys, I realize I haven't been around in quite a while. I've got some bad news though, I probably won't be around for a while yet. Part of the reason I have been gone is vacations, no big there.
The other part is a bit more serious. I've been having fainting spells this summer. They started when I dislocated my finger, but they've persisted since then. I've fainted at least four times this summer, and I'm constantly tired. After getting a blood test done, we've discovered that I'm borderline anemic. I've been taking naps frequently, something I haven't really done since before I was two unless I was sick. Additionally the curvature of my spine (curving to the right instead of being straight) is pinching some nerves in my legs, which might be affecting my blood vessels somehow. Whatever the reason there, they hurt and the vessels constrict.
With school right around the corner, I'm going to have even less time. I don't think I'm going to be able to keep posting here at this time, especially since I haven't been able to do it in a while. There's too much stuff going on for me. That means my stories are on hiatus as well, which I dislike as much as I dislike not being here and posting. Maybe someday soon I'll be able to get back to them, but right now it doesn't seem to be in the cards. I'll still be reading and reviewing fanfiction, but right now writing seems to be out of my league. I can't focus long enough to try to get thoughts on paper. I'm kinda worried how this will affect my school work...
Anyways, guys, this is my hopefully temporary farewell to you. At least for right now. I'm going to try to get back to you guys when I can, so I may pop up from time to time and add little pieces to what's going on, but I can't keep it up now. You guys are some of my best friends.
Hopefully returning soon,
Ace Ian Combat
EDIT: I can't even seem to type right.:P

Wow. Well, you take care, girl, and know that you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Another close friend of mine had a similar condition in her spine, and she's doing quite well after the doctors fixed it. I don't remember if she was anemic as well, but I think she might've been.
Anyway, you start feeling better real soon. I for one want to see you posting and writing again.

Take care of yourself, and get well soon.

Take care of yourself, Ace. I know that back problems can certainly be debilitating, and I've seen my sister have to deal with anemia (in her case, it came out as a complication during one of her pregnancies).
Good luck, and we'll leave the light on for ya!

Ouch. At least you've identified what's causing the problems; now you can start working on solutions. Is anemia (?) treatable?

Usually.......depends on the cause, of course.
