Say, just because Dr. Possible shows Aunt June consideration and forebearance does not necessarily mean they are siblings. If June was a widowed sister-in-law of Dr. Possible's, I could easily see it in his character to look out for her, in stead of a deceased brother. June just doesn't seem to be a Possible to me.
Along those lines, an aunt of a friend of mine recently died. She was looked after by her brother-in-law and his wife for fifty years (!) after she was widowed. This woman was by all accounts nutty and difficult to get along with (her house was filled to the rafters with crud, with money hidden in various nooks and crannies). Yet, the brother-in-law stuck by her, and has not even made any trouble about the estate. So it can happen!

That's a good point you've made, ncnu. Of course, I still favor jeriddian's theory about Aunt June...:P
