    On radio: Kurt Masur conducts an all-Brahms concert live from the Tanglewood festival. Garrick Ohlsson joins the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra for the German master's Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat, op. 83. Symphony No. 2 in D will close the program.

    EDIT: it was an LP of this concerto that turned me into a classical music lover many years ago.

    Johann Strauss II, Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald (Tales from the Vienna Woods), op. 325. Loren Maazel conducts the Vienna Philharmonic in a performance recorded at one of their annual New Year's Concerts.
