What Reminds You of KP? #8

    Alright!!!!!!

The eighth installment of the "What Reminds You of KP" is underway.

This morning, I was reading Beetle Bailey and in the fourth frame, I stumbled upon this caption: "When the mess hall caught fire, who was on K.P.?" Instantly, I thought of Ron being the master of cooking while Kim was ..... well ...... not so a cook in Two to Tutor.

Last night I was watching the highlights of a college football game on one of the ESPN channels. As I watched this one player dash toward the end zone chased by members of the opposing team, I thought about Ron using his mad running-away skills to good effect on the Middleton High team.

...So when the Hearst Corp. built its showcase 46-story tower on West 57th Street, it wanted elevators that would be easier to use. Today a new bank of eight elevators sits in the huge, sun-drenched lobby.

"People find these kind of ultrasleek, modern.," says Brian Schwagerl, Hearst's vice president of real estate. "The doors open, they go 'whoosh' and then the doors close and they go 'whoosh' and before you know it, you're transported to the 10th floor and you've hardly even felt the ride."
"You've got.... you've got.... doors that go... that go... 'whoosh!'"

I was making rounds on the dialysis patients and as I was leaving one of them said, "See ya later, Dr. P."

    I had to laugh...

.....or was it the one question I didn't get right.....

Caught an episode of the game show "Jeopardy" whilest running around doing other things at home. A question came up that sounded vaguely familiar:

"What continent, named "all-earth" in Greek, came apart during the Triassic period?"

    All together, class (and Ron):

    Wishful thinking here....

The other day at work I found myself pondering the difficulties I'm having with a new software program we're testing, and how all our efforts to fix them so far have failed.
I found myself thinking that Wade could have fixed them quite easily and quickly.

I was reading something about a high school football team, and the name of the school was Eastside Catholic. Maybe they were Middleton High's opponent in "Mind Games" and "All the News"?

Among its "Top 10 Cities in the USA," CNN placed the town of Middleton, WI at Number 4.
Also, I heard someone say "Boo-yah!" in a beer commercial during today's Cubs game. :P
