I haven't been driving in a while (the bus system and a bike have taken care of most of my needs recently), so I don't have an acute sense of the price of gas... But I have noticed that it's broken about $3 around here lately.

WOW we really hit 500 post and past it huh? The only thing is unfortunate is most of the post on this are for the bad news of higher prices.

I know what you mean, Cloud - I paid $2.94 a gallon for regular unleaded today. And that was the cheapest I could find in my area.

Prices are creeping up here in New England. The cheapest grade was $2.919/gal. when I topped up my tank this morning.

I saw a sign at a gas station near my home yesterday; they were selling regular unleaded for $3.03 a gallon.

Gas prices around Clinton are around $2.69 a gallon.
And, yes everybody, gas is ever increasing in prices.

$2.65/gallon, pretty consistantly throughout my trip. The exception has been remote desert gas stations, where it has always been about 23 cents higher.
