    The Phineas & Ferb thread-inator

DCOM starts at 8. I thought it was time.

I'm really looking forward to this. The promos have looked pretty good.

One thing I'm not feeling 100% on: Disney's started teasing some red meat for Phineas/Isabella 'shippers. I mean, come on; they're like 10, aren't they?

Well, so was Ben Tennyson of Ben 10, but that didn't stop his writers from having him fantasize about rescuing a bus full of cheerleaders and crush on a Navajo girl...

Back to P&B - is this show supposed to be just a mid-series special a la ASiT, or the series finale? The show seems to young to be cancelled already...

Speaking of ASiT, does anyone get a similar vibe that they got from ASit? I mean, alternate versions of themselves, the bad guy taking over, current versions helping deal with the timeline/dimension where the bad guy won? Just saying

No - the selves they saw in ASiT were there past and future selves, not their selves from a different timeline.

    My verdict:

I wish they'd found a way to include Vanessa Doofenschmirtz in the movie, though. She's one of my favorite characters.

I was wondering about her myself. Why didn't they include her in the film?
And I agree with your verdict 100%!

Phineas und Ferb are two creative and clever brothers and they can create fantastic things and machines with normal building materals.

Very true. And their pet platypus is almost as creative as they are.

Yes, I agree. It was a lot like ASIT. The finale showdown was a lot like So The Drama as well (flying Diablo Devils). Can't help thinking of Kim too, when I see all the butt kicking world-saving red haired teenage girl stuff going on......

    Smile Saw the movie today...

Well, that was only the alternate Candace (who had been fighting for several years...)

Also, was it just me, or did we spend more time in the alternate dystopia than ASiT: Future did? AT2D seemed to flesh things out a bit more...
