Flamingo1986 (Zachary Rich) is proud to present the promotional poster for his next pony animation, and officially announce that it will be the first-ever fan-made episode!
That’s right. An entire episode.
Going by the title “Double Rainboom”, the episode will be released this upcoming Fall in six parts – each one uploaded a week apart from the other. Through the combined efforts of bronies across the internet and other students from the Savannah College of Art & Design – the episode will feature a full orchestral score, studio-quality sound effects, voice actresses for the ponies, and 100% show-accurate animation.
As a taste of what is to come, the animatic for “Double Rainboom: Part 01” has also been released. You can watch it on YouTube via the link below:

Hell, I remember from way, waaaaaay back on TV Tome when Phil Literate, Erased Paper, TWD, myself, et.al. were kicking about the idea of making fan-made episodes of "Kim Possible." At the time, we didn't have the skills or the proper hardware, and the software to develop this sort of thing was a lot more expensive in 2004. The fandom didn't have quite enough critical mass. (Though it's possible ( ) we might be able to find a deep-pocketed fan somewhere.)
But this fandom..... Wow, this fandom does.
The fact that the show is made in easily-duplicatable Flash* is also a boon. It also helps that Hasbro's attitude has been "What-ev's, as long as it sells more merch and DVDs!"
I really can't see Disney being quite so tolerable of a fandom like the Bronies. Unlike Hasbro, The Mouse has "an image" to uphold.
*To see just how duplicatable, check out these short videos: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...2&feature=plcp
They are (apparently) put together by a non-professional whose hobbies include animation and Flash. He really liked the simple-yet-expressive style of MLP and decided to show precisely why it works so well.
EDIT: He's made a new video, analyzing talking animation, that hasn't been added to the playlist yet: http://youtu.be/cF8uV8XlpUM

I'll see if I can find an image of the exact design to post in this thread.

Sort of - only on the shirt I saw, Rainbow Dash was in a full-out gallop, with her head further forward and her neck extended.

Actually, this is the T-shirt I saw:

I mis-remembered the pony's image - it wasn't Rainbow Dash after all. The pony on the shirt is not a pegasus, and is darker blue in color. Still, you have to admit the shirt looks pretty neat!

The latest fan-made Pony video to hit viral status: "Epic Wub Time."
http://youtu.be/Sob1t-iUCmE

It's about two background characters who have (for whatever reason) really taken off in the Brony community. The white pony is Vinyl Scratch (stage name DJ P0N3) and the gray one is Octavia. Scratch is something of a mascot for the fandom's musicians who prefer electronic, dubstep and club music, and Octavia serves the same for the lovers of more classical, traditional styles. They're commonly paired together as friends/roomates, because their wildly different music tastes make ample opportunity for sparks to fly.
"I come downstairs; she's doing the dishes. You'd think it'd be great, right? A roommate who does the dishes! Only... one problem. She cleans them with... wubs."
