I'm up to #17 (Stardust) in my traversal of Robert B. Parker's Spenser series, and he's just introduced a Boston police detective named Lipsky.

No idea if he's got blue skin yet.

My new Volvo accepts voice commands and talks back to me, sort of like SADIE in "Car Trouble."

Today on the drive home from work, I heard John Denver's "Annie's Song." Right away I thought how that would be a tune Kim's dad might have played for her mom, back when they were dating in college.

I can just hear it now - the first time campy goes to use a cup holder:
"All right, all right - put a lid on it! You look like a spiller!"

When I saw this story my first thought was that it should be a team of Yamanuchi alumnae.

Something just occurred to me: In the first Back To The Future movie, when Marty visits downtown Hill Valley in 1955, the film playing in the local cinema is a Western starring Ronald Reagan and Barbara Stanwyck. Its title? Cattle Queen Of Montana.

Made me wonder if it's on Slim and Joss's favorite-movie list....

Hmmmm, an all female Japanese protection squad for FLOTUS. Well that sounds quite appropriate, very Kim Possible-y.

I recently saw the movie version of Get Smart, and was reminded again in the pre-party scene where Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway) after the long motorcycle ride quickly changed her outfit to an evening gown and wig before she and Agent 86 (Smart) infiltrated the party looking for the bad guys. The dress and wig, as well as the changing scene were eerily like the same scene in A Sitch in Tme where Kim and Ron snorkel to a beach and she changes there into almost the same outfit and wig in almost the same way to infiltrate that notorious club looking for Shego.

Just an FYI...the Disney Channel website now has a new KP trivia game and a sticker creator. These may be not new to anyone else, I don't know since personally I hadn't been to DC.com since 2007.

It's nice to know someone at the company still remembers and cares about KP. When I see her being kept around it reminds me the world isn't yet completely a black void of corruption, hatred, and greed. Shine on, little candle shine on..

I ran across a book in the library that reminded me of KP, specifically of the episode "Animal Attraction." Its title is Island of the Blue Foxes.
