Last night, I listened to some of my favorite songs on my computer while wearing my new, wonderful earphones! It's something I do on Saturday nights - pour myself a drink, plug the 'phones into the computer, and relax with some liquor and tunes.....

Playing, I was having a little trouble with 'Rocking in the Free World' with the transition from the 'D' chord to the 'C' chord. In the song there is only one hit on the D and then one hit on the C before you go back to the 'E' minor. The transition from D to C wasn't fast enough because of the tempo.

Bruckner.....Hmmmm. He's a tough one. Adagio for Strings, Samuel Barber. Can't rememebr the orchestra or conductor. Originally the 2nd movement of one of his quartets, the piece became so greatly loved it has been transcribed for full string orchestra, which was what was played. (I've heard it arranged for full choirs too. Very nice.)
