Yesterday we had a mix of clouds & sun, with some rain moving in last night. Today we had torrential rain almost all day here in Go City, as that nasty storm system moved through our area. The worst of it, including strong winds, tornadoes, and damaging hail, passed to the south of where I live. But the rain came down almost as hard as a waterfall by us! Our street was partially flooded since the sewer drains couldn't carry the water off fast enough. The latest forecast tells us that we could get more rain perhaps tomorrow afternoon, but definitely tomorrow night. And they're calling for rain in our area for most of next week. Glad I bought that new umbrella yesterday.....

We had beautiful, warm sunny weather all three days of the holiday weekend. Now I think winter's coming back.

Boy, we have had some weather lately. Lots of thunderstorms and lightning coming through the last few weeks.

Yeah, we had rain off and on throughout the day. Now it's partly cloudy, and you can see some stars through the clear patches, but we're supposed to get some more thunderstorms tomorrow morning. Which means I have to make sure the windows are all closed before I go off to work!

We finally got up into the 80s here in Go City! It was mostly sunny all day, except for a line of rainstorms which quickly moved through the area around 4 PM local time. It's still warm & muggy out tonight, so we finally just closed up the house & fired up the central A.C. for the first time this year.

Oh Lordy, is it hot out..... Right now, it's 88 out by us, and supposed to go up to 92 tomorrow. And we're not supposed to get any rain until Tuesday.

It's been fairly hot down here in Texas, but not all that bad. We'll see how the fall goes.
