We were in downtown Springfield last evening and had dinner at a local Cajun place. We split a plate of fried oysters, then I had meatloaf and Mrs. c had blackened salmon.

Tonight I took two plain cheese-covered French bread pizzas from Stouffer's and added more toppings before putting them in the oven. I added mushrooms, onion bits, and a sliced-up hot dog (in place of sausage). Tasted pretty good, too!

Wish I was, cioppino is an old favorite of mine, calamari and vinegar mussels make for a great starter.

We had cioppino again, this time at Crab House on pier 39. I've now tried it at 4 different places: Woodhouse Fish co., Tadich Grill, Sotto Mare, and Crab House. All 4 do it well.
