Yeah, I can't recall ever having to choose between two such ghastly candidates, but, in the end, my loathing of dynasties (we gave that up in 1776), won out.
In your neck of the woods your cat would win the congressional or senate seat if you could associate her with the Kennedys.
Despite it all, the country will endure.

Hopefully, Trump will do something really stupid, and we can impeach him. I can live with Pence being president. But it is also correct that Clinton would have been far worse.

Yep. We lost John Glenn at the age of 95. God bless him.

I'm currently watching a most ghastly-looking football game, as the Los Angeles Rams, wearing primarily white uniforms complete with white horns on their helmets (that element being a throwback to their 1964-72 look), are taking on a bunch of neon green highligters - oh, wait, that's just the Seattle Seahawks in their eye-searing electric green jerseys, pants, socks, and shoes.

I'm watching the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert recorded earlier today in the Großer Musikvereinssaal. Gustavo Dudamel conducts the traditional fare of bonbons by the Strauss family and others.
