Yeah; that's what practically all the pundits are saying. It galls me that with all the evidence that points to his guilt, he'll be acquitted by a bunch of career politicians who are only interested in maintaining their political power, rather than serving & protecting our country & its Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic (like it says in the oath each one of them took when they first took office in the Senate). Oh, I agree. The US Attorney's office in New York's Southern District is compiling evidence against him regarding business & tax fraud he's supposed to have committed in NYC and New York state over the years. It won't be long before they indict him on those charges; and I just heard today that the state of Georgia may file charges of their own against him for his attempts to coerce state officials to illegally overturn the results of the presidential election (in Georgia) in his favor. Saw Purge 3 yesterday. It's quite disturbing how much our current political and societal nightmares resemble the Purge universe.
Hopefully soon it will feel good to be an American again.
