We had Mom's "Sloppy Joes" - that's ground beef cooked in a mildly-spiced BBQ sauce, and served on a hamburger bun. It's not pressed into hamburger patties; instead it's prepared as loose bits of meat which spill all over the bun and your plate. Hence the name.

We ate a lot of those when I was a kid, along with tuna casserole (now a I have a sudden craving for both).

Tonight we had hamburgers & potato chips for dinner. My brother finished off the last of Mom's homemade potato salad (which was REALLY good this time).

I microwaved some frozen meatballs & a baked potato, while Mom and my brother had waffles (which I still don't think should be served for dinner!)
