I had two fillets of tilapia, marinated in teriyaki sauce and served on a bed of grits. Dessert was vanilla ice cream with cherries (canned pie filling) and peanuts on top.

Margarita Chicken at Chili's. It's a good staple for most days, and I can get it with a bowl of soup and tea for $10.

We had the usual Thanksgiving feast: Turkey; stuffing; mashed potatoes; green-bean casserole; cooked turnip (Mom likes that); cranberry sauce; rolls with butter, and plenty of gravy to soak the meat, spuds, and stuffing in.

We had duck instead of turkey for Thanksgiving. (Those wacky Californians!)

I ate a Mediterranean Salad, and some Gyro. I couldn't have a Greek salad as nobody is serving Romaine lettuce right now.

We had popcorn shrimp and French fries for dinner tonight. Plus, I'm still making sandwiches out of the Thanksgiving turkey leftovers. But it won't be long before Mom bags up what's left, and freezes it to make a turkey casserole sometime after New Year's.
