I've been eating some barbecue from a new place. it was brought in by a rep for an infusion company promoting its services. It was pretty good. It's one of the perks of my job. We get fed a lot at lunch

I had a decent Cuban sandwish today. Still wasn't as good as my mother's though.

I had leftover spaghetti for my dinner while Mom & my brother had waffles. I still don't consider waffles to be a dinner meal, even though my family's occasionally had them at dinner time ever since I was a child.

I wouldn't consider waffles as dinner either. Had a nice Beef Pho soup this evening.

I had some great meals over the last two weeks. Authentic schnitzel and strudel in Vienna, plus some amazing dinners on the Danube river cruise. The highlight was the special seven-course wine dinner Friday night which started with Dom Pérignon 2008 champagne and continued with foie gras terrine and truffle risotto among other delicacies.

Then it's probably a good thing I didn't mention the 36-hour-roasted beef short ribs accompanied by Opus One 2015.

Well, tonight it's back to eating my own cooking.
