I finally got to view the latest James Bond movie, No Time To Die, all the way through on my LAX-BOS flight. Last time I found it on a plane I had to give up because the playback kept quitting.

I watched "Frozen II" with my stepmother today. She enjoyed it quite a bit.

I watched another old favorite tonight: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. A well-written tale, and a fond goodbye to the cast from the Original Series.

I borrowed the DVD of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring movie (2001) from America's First Public Library this morning.
I've never seen it before, but I've already seen some of the filming locations. Last month we had a tour of the hobbit village set in New Zealand, including an ale at the Green Dragon™ Inn.

I recentlty spent the Labor Day weekend watching the extended versions of the trilogy myself. Gettomg that extra 30-45 minutes into each movie enhanves them a lot, I think. But it does make each one almost four hours long. I watched one a day over three days.

I borrowed a DVD of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers from America's First Public Library today. I'll have to content myself with the theatrical release since they didn't have the extended version.

I do.....*snicker, snicker*. Did you ever think of buying them, Campy? That's the only way you can see them you know. I rewatched 'Spectre' again last night. It gave me more perspective on the last James Bond film.

Buy DVDs? When the library has shelves full of them free for the borrowing? Perish the thought!
I could easily request the extended edition via interlibrary loan if I wanted it.

I saw "The Northman", starring Alexander Skarsgård (son of Stellan Skarsgård) and Anya Taylor-Joy. Other notable stars included Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, and Ethan Hawke. Very dark look at the Sandinavian per-Christian culture involvement with Norse mythology and religion.
