What In Real Life Reminds You Of KP? #11

As I finished cleaning the bathroom today, I stood there admiring the spotless porcelain. All of a sudden, I recalled both Drakken and Ron in the weather machine sales lot (from Job Unfair), gazing at the glistening vehicles and declaring, "Oooh, SHINY!"

Living with a crawling/toddling baby for the past few weeks has reminded me of the KP episodes featuring Ron's adopted sister Hana. And also of "Nursery Crimes."

When I arrived at my daughter's house for the first time yesterday, I saw something the previous owners had left behind: a sticker on the side door proclaiming their support for the local high school athletes. The school's teams are nicknamed Rockets. So the sticker literally said they were Rocket Boosters!

At the playground today Leo was crawling through a tunnel, which reminded me of the many times Kim and Ron crawled through ventilation shafts and similar structures on the show.

This morning I woke up and checked my bedside clock to see if I should get up or stay in bed. I saw that the time was 5:55 a.m. This reminded me of Senor Senior's tattoo in "Triple S."

I made myself a cup of hot chocolate today. Or as Drakken might call it, cocoa moo.

I almost forgot it was trash day at the condo today. I had to rush to get the bags out in time much as Kim rushed to print her term paper in episode "Tick, Tick, Tick."

My broken wall clock in the condo is another reminder of episode "Tick, Tick, Tick," where the detention room clock malfunctioned while Kim was serving her time.

I played outside with Leo. He chased a big ball much as pre-K Kim and Ron did in A Sitch in Time: Past.

Leo really enjoys turning pages in books these days, which reminds me of Ron's sister Hana in episode "Oh No! Yono!"
