We took Clara and Robbie to help us pick out a Christmas tree. Then we tried riding bicycles at the condo complex and then took them to a playground.

Today we took a drive out to a science museum in another town. All the kids had fun.

Later we put up our Christmas tree and the grandkids helped decorate it. Then we had dinner and the children celebrated my birthday a couple of days early.

Tomorrow the western contingent flies back home.

Grading projects and exams this week and next. Grades are due on the morning of the 9th, so guess what I'll be doing on the 8th. Then it's off until next year.

We took Clara and Leo to the playground where they played with their cousins. (Well, Leo not so much at 3 months old.)

Then I brought the Californians to the airport for their flight and now I'm home again and ready for some rest.

I put the Christmas tree lights on a timer so I don't have to turn them on and off manually. I also ran the monthly smoke/CO alarm test, did some laundry and vacuumed the first floor of the condo.

I returned the books Clara borrowed last week to the library, and picked up a new one for myself.

Bought a bag of cat food and did some grocery shopping. I tried redeeming some deposit bottles, but the machine filled up before I was halfway through.

I took a ride out to the second-hand store across the border in Rhode Island. I was hoping to find a nice wine rack for cheap, but no luck.
