Rereading my old Double Entendre stories so that I can refresh myself as to the characters--yes--that means that I am prepping to resume the series (while at the same time keeping up with "Kiss of the Raptor"--I've got fans of that series as well that I don't want to disappoint and it's headed for a major turning point in the story.)

I'm 60 chapters ahead of my editor in book 2 and I need to get it done and start 'Specter of Justice' which I only have 14 chapters done and is getting close to the third twist.

I installed updated maps in my Volvo's navigation system. I hope they've finally put in the new mileage-based exit numbers on the local Interstates.

When I get super lost, I just call OnStar and ask them where the heck I am.

I could try Volvo On Call, I guess.

I tested the new map on my drive home from dinner. It still directed me to the old exit 16 instead of exit 41. Maybe the next update ...

I've had the mapping on my Acadia send me the wrong way before. When I go around Toronto it wants to send me through Toronto. Hopefully, I'll be able to do that later this year if the border opens.

I keep old-fashioned paper maps in my car. I haven't got any GPS devices to refer to - the maps and my wits are enough.

    As for my day:
I really didn't do much - took the trash out (tomorrow's pick-up day in our neighborhood); emptied Mom's gardening cart down by the creek; mailed a couple of letters for her then did a little shopping. After dinner I downloaded a new, updated operating system for my external back-up drive, then successfully backed up the latest data I generated from my computer.
Still no word on the job search.....

Took it easy today, recovering from some stomach problems--nothing serious, but rather inconvenient.
