I watched "Ill Suited" again recently and I'm still shaking my head over the way the show handled Ron's behavior.

Apparently he and Kim didn't tell Coach Barkin right away about his battle suit usage, because Ron didn't get punished for cheating until after the Mad Dogs' 2nd game. How did he manage at practice for a week without losing his QB1 job? Very puzzling.

(Or maybe Kim let him practice with it but not wear it in the game? Seems out-of-character.)

I'm thinking about this because the issue of Ron's cheating is going to come up in my next fanfic chapter when Kim discovers she's been manipulated into leaving the cheer squad/sports girls soccer match.
