Symphony: Mathis der Maler by Paul Hindemith.

I have fourteen recordings of this work in my iTunes library, but today I'm not listening to any of those. I'm listening to Guido Cantelli leading the NBC Symphony in a 1948 radio concert, one of the many selections on Apple's new Classical streaming app which I'm sampling. A six-month Apple Music membership came with my AirPods.

Streaming Apple Classical again: the Vienna Philharmonic's Sommernachtskonzert (Summer Night Concert) from 2020, with Valery Gergiev conducting and tenor soloist Jonas Kaufmann singing opera favorites such as "Pourquoi me réveiller?" from Massenet's Werther and "Nessun dorma" from Puccini's Turandot.

A recent broadcast of Pinchas Zukerman leading the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D Major. I actually saw that performance live, and then heard it again on the radio.
