Watching that tropical depression. Right now the track doesn't look good, but these things change quick. Going to be another hot day with the temp in the high nineties. Welcome to Florida in the fall.
[Update] Not much change in the 5PM track. They moved it a bit to the west, but right now it could go anywhere.

11 AM track for Ian: They've moved it a little further to the west and the spaghetti plots seem to be taking a westward shift for now. Right now, Homosassa Springs is under the gun, but with storms like this, things can change almost immediately. Getting started on preps. just in case: meds are filled, got canned goods to last me, first aid kit, gallon jugs I'll fill with water, all that good stuff. Next update should be 2 PM with the next major update at 5 PM.
5 PM Update: They've moved it further west with the track hitting the Big Bend area of the state, a fair bit north of where I live. However, we're still within the cone and these things can literally change direction on a dime like Charley did in '05, so, still continuing making preps. Next major update at 11 PM
11 PM Update: They've moved it further west and north with the track now hitting Tallahassee, but we're still within the cone and this thing's got a long way to go so not safe yet. Next update at 5 AM
5 AM Update: No real change in track since the 11 PM advisory. The track's headed for landfall at the Big Bend near Tallahassee, but I'm still within the cone and there's still a long way to go. Next update at 11 AM.

11 AM track for Ian: No change in track since 5 AM. Center of the cone is near Tallahassee, but I'm still inside the cone and these things are unpredictable. Next scheduled update at 2 PM.
2 PM update: No change in track. Center of the cone still targeting Tallahassee, but the situation is fluid as the models are all over the place. Next update at 5 PM
5 PM update: No real changes in track. Next update at 8 PM
8 PM update: Slight shift to the east which is not good for me. Next update at 11 PM
11 PM update: No real change in the cone. Still moving towards the tip of Cuba. Next update at 5 AM.
5 AM update: Now it starts getting tense. They've moved it further east, it's expected to make landfall north of the Tampa area. Looking at rain and some winds possibly. Weds. is going to be the big day. Keeping fingers crossed that it'll decide to shift a bit to the west and not anymore to the east. Getting close to nail biting time. Next update at 8 AM
