Student tried to pull a fast one on me and used AI to write their assignment. Turnitin caught it and the student got what I promised they'd get if they tried it. Can't say I didn't give them fair warning. AI's opening one heck of a Pandora's Box.

Took it easy all day. Talked with my stepmother. Her Alzheimer's is getting worse. She just had her 87th birthday.

The next couple of days I have to call members of my priory to remind them to pay their oblations. I mean we're all adults, this is the part of my job that I like the least.
