Doing administrative work at the old job...more like putting out fires here and there.

I dropped Mrs. campy at the eye doctor for a laser procedure. I also did a little writing today.

Welp, good news on the investiture front; they named our officiant and we reserved a restaurant for the dinner.

We freezing drizzle last night and the golden froze up trying to come back up on the deck. Anyway, I took Boo on the leash out the front door. He is a 105 lb golden retriever and he pulled me off my feet and onto my knee preplacement....so THAT hurts and I hyper extended it.

Wrestled with Windows 11 and finally threw in the towel and reverted back to Win 10.

Mrs. campy has 11 on her laptop, and from what little I've seen of it I'm glad I don't have it on my desktop. (My CPU prevents me from going past Win 10.)

I like to have my taskbar on the side of the screen instead of the bottom, which I think is still impossible in 11.

Starting the French and Indian War this week--ramping up to the Revolution. Also got a little work done on my writing and finished my taxes. Win 11 has a nasty bug where you can't access your security dashboard so I couldn't run any scans or anything. That was the last straw for me. Eventually I'm going to have to make the move, but I'm going to wait until they fix some of those bugs.
