How Was Your Day? Thread Number 21

Got to the airport in San Juan, but we can’t check in until four hours before the flight, so we are sitting here waiting.

When we woke up in our cabin this morning, we found the overhead lights were not working. I had to shave by the light of a AAA-battery flashlight.

Finished with the semester and doing Christmas shopping. Going to my sister's this evening.

Tried to do some laundry this morning, but my brand-new washer did not work. I think the problem is the outlet the machine is plugged into. I tested it and it seems to be dead.

I'll have to get an electrician in here next week.

The day was quiet

An electrician came and diagnosed my laundry room issue as a malfunctioning GFCI unit. He replaced it and I washed three loads of laundry. I also went to the post office to collect my held mail and to America's First Public Library for a book.

Hitting a little bit of a holiday slowdown in writing right now--holiday preparations and all are keeping me pretty busy. Also got to start on prepping for spring semester.

Began working on getting things set up for Spring. Teaching four courses this semester.

We put up our Christmas tree in the condo after returning from Needham.

Working a lot more than usual at work now. I knew it would happen, but I got it covered. It's npwhere near like what I had to do at the old job.
